We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to lead our Ground Up Detention Center project from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Oversee and direct all aspects of the construction project, including planning, execution, and completion.
• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks at hand.
• Coordinate a team of construction workers, ensuring that each stage of the project is being carried out according to plan and on schedule.
• Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, providing a safe and secure environment for all workers.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and local government officials.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and other managerial aspects of construction.
• Resolve any problems that may arise and ensure the project stays within budget and on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, specifically in the development of correctional facilities or prisons.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints and technical drawings.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate a large team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with construction/project management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
