Job Description:

L3Harris Corporation is seeking an experienced leader to take on a pivotal role in quality management at our manufacturing facility. This position encompasses oversight of quality initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of superior, cost-effective products that meet market demands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving enterprise-wide quality standards to achieve customer satisfaction and meet internal quality benchmarks.
  • Articulating a clear vision for quality improvement and aligning the organization towards strategic objectives.
  • Fostering a diverse and high-performing quality team that is actively engaged in continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate policies, operational processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with corporate resources to implement industry-leading practices, particularly in statistical process control and advanced metrics.


Essential Functions:
  • Lead the organization in delivering high-quality products that are competitively priced.
  • Manage quality processes to fulfill customer expectations and internal quality goals.
  • Communicate a strategic vision for quality enhancement across the organization.
  • Develop a diverse and effective quality management team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.


Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of experience. Candidates without a degree must have a minimum of 19 years of related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality management system standards.
  • Experience with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Strong statistical analysis skills applied in a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to quality management.
  • Leadership experience in quality within the electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of lean six sigma methodologies (green/black belt certification is advantageous).
  • Experience in managing quality control programs and supplier quality initiatives.
  • Expertise in integrating advanced quality principles into new product development processes.
  • Proven ability to manage quality in large-scale programs to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in driving formal root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
  • Ability to cultivate a quality-centric culture aligned with mission-critical objectives.
  • Experience in managing substantial budgets and capital asset planning.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and mentoring quality professionals.
  • A strong track record of achieving functional and business objectives.
