Job Summary:

As a Diesel Fleet Technician II at Sysco, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems. Responsibilities:

* Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
* Conduct FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and converter dollies, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles.
* Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups in a timely and efficient manner.
* Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.

Qualifications:

* 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Current and valid driver's license.
* ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred).
* Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
