Key Responsibilities- Process and manage patient health records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Respond to requests for patient records, both within the facility and by external sources, retrieving and transmitting them appropriately.
- Answer inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolution of patient inquiries.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as data entry, faxing, and mail handling.
- Meet productivity expectations and adapt to changing priorities and role needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in a healthcare environment or related field.
- Previous production/metric-based work experience.
- In-person customer service experience.
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers.
This is an on-site role, working in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach horizontally and vertically for overhead use, and lift 20 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified individuals with disabilities.
