Insight Global is seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team in Brighton, MA. This full-time position will involve working onsite and collaborating with our design and construction administrative services client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough bridge inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
  • Perform bridge load rating and prepare rating reports
  • Design bridges for new construction, rehabilitation, and replacement projects for highway, railroad, and pedestrian bridges
  • Prepare construction cost estimates and specifications
  • Coordinate with CAD designers to develop construction plans
  • Prepare cost proposal and work-hour estimates
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil/structural engineering
  • NBIS qualified Team Leader with structural design experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in MA
  • Completion of one of the following NHI courses: Safety Inspection of In Service Bridges 130055, Bridge Inspection Refresher Training 130053, Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges 130078, Tunnel Safety Inspection or Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures
  • Computer literacy with flexibility to learn new software as needed
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with subs, primes, contractors, and clients
