About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Survey Practice Leader to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a key member of our survey department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of survey personnel, evaluating market surveying practices and technologies, and overseeing the firm's commitment to quality assurance and quality control.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the survey department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality survey services to clients.
- Evaluate market surveying practices and technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Communicate and manage external client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Assist in business development needs, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
- Oversee the firm's commitment to quality assurance and quality control, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Identify potential markets and growth opportunities, contributing to the firm's strategic planning and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience in surveying, with 5 years of experience leading and managing survey personnel.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Tennessee or the ability to achieve.
- Familiarity with the latest technology and emerging practices in surveying.
- Experience in conventional and advanced surveying tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in BIM, geospatial, LiDAR, unmanned aircraft systems, and photogrammetry surveying methods.
- Proven track record in business development and strategic planning.
