Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic nursing care to ill patients, such as taking vital signs and administering medications.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the state of New Hampshire or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and respond to changing patient needs.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
