Job Summary

The Deputy Clerk I position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Rockdale County court system. This role involves processing routine legal documents, performing data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to the public, attorneys, and law enforcement agencies via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Process and review legal documents, including court orders, deeds, and citations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in specialized computer applications.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of court documents, including calendars and receipts.
  • Communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and external stakeholders to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in administrative or clerical support.
  • Valid State of Georgia Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a judicial or court setting.
