Job Summary
We are seeking a Professional Staff Nurse to join our team at the Child Advocacy Center. As a member of our care delivery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to children and families, including medical examinations, assessments, and interventions.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a culture of respect and compassion.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting certification with renewal.
- Act 33 certification with renewal.
- Act 34 certification.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- BSN degree or higher.
