Position Responsibilities

Facilitate a clear understanding among team members regarding the business requirements that inform the analysis and design of effective technical solutions. Ensure adherence to organizational standards and timely delivery of applications.

Maintain and adjust programs according to established specifications. Develop, compile, and implement application software that meets deadlines and budget constraints. Assess interdependencies within the programming environment to evaluate the impact of changes across related areas.

Conduct testing on modified programs, create necessary test files and data, verify logic, debug issues, and produce relevant documentation.

Analyze production systems, recommend enhancements, and provide guidance to the production support team. Investigate customer issues and identify suitable resolutions. Coordinate the implementation of modifications or enhancements.

Evaluate existing or proposed systems. Create functional designs and technical specifications, including concept diagrams and workflow diagrams, to effectively process data using the appropriate systems environment/platform. Document programs and procedures thoroughly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in application development, system testing, or a related field.
  • Expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
  • Willingness to work onsite.
  • Ability to obtain a C2 clearance.
  • Experience with APS Code Generator is preferred.
