Position Summary
As a Dining Associate II, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding meal services to patients while upholding the highest sanitation standards within the department. Your responsibilities will include the preparation and assembly of patient trays, addressing any service-related concerns, and maintaining cleanliness in all dining areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently adhere to established performance standards.
- Accurately assemble patient meal trays in accordance with specified guidelines.
- Prepare menu items and nourishment in line with departmental recipes and portion control standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and proactively resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces following sanitation protocols.
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, and kitchenware as per departmental procedures.
- Deliver and retrieve patient tray carts in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively to support patient care and operational needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various work assignments.
- Utilize sound judgment in prioritizing tasks and problem-solving.
- Manage responsibilities with minimal supervision while ensuring efficiency.
- Act as an advocate for the department and the community.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of one year in a food service, hospitality, or customer service environment is preferred. Candidates should exhibit a commitment to service excellence and demonstrate core values such as teamwork, communication, and compassion.
