•Completes additional tasks with enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

•Food must be prepared in a hygienic and timely manner.

•A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

•Knowledge of work safety and emergency procedures is essential.

•Must be capable of producing all Mother Sauces and stocks, utilizing them for other sauces as needed.

•Skills in Garde Manger, including centerpiece creation, canapés, cold food displays, and preparation of dressings and cold sauces.

•Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including proper timekeeping and safety protocols.

  • Most tasks are performed indoors; must be able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F).
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions with minimal ventilation.
  • Ability to handle knives, pots, and other display items, as well as lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform cutting tasks on surfaces 3 to 4 feet high and operate various kitchen machinery.
  • Ability to demonstrate culinary techniques, including cutting, cooking principles, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to create and manage displays up to 8 feet high, including ice carvings.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to navigate the workplace efficiently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for cleaning tasks.
  • Requires manual dexterity and visual acuity for operating equipment.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with guests and team members.
