Sales Engineer

American Air Filter International is seeking a highly organized and skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the New York City/Long Island region. The successful candidate will work with the professional engineering community to develop specifications, bid, close, and service General, Mechanical, and Sheet Metal Contractors as well as end-users in the territory.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably including technical coursework, and a familiarity with the plan and specification sales process. A desire to achieve sales success in the disciplines of HVAC, Process, or Mechanical Equipment is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing specifications with the professional engineering community
- Bidding and closing contracts with General, Mechanical, and Sheet Metal Contractors as well as end-users
- Providing exceptional customer service and support
