The Merchandising Associate for Women's Bottoms plays a crucial role in developing product assortments and addressing business requirements for specific categories. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to translate category strategies into actionable plans that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop assortment strategies for Women's Bottoms by analyzing key performance indicators, market trends, and consumer preferences. Ensure assortments align with brand objectives while meeting financial goals.
  • Collaborate with planning and allocation teams to conduct business reviews, manage open-to-buy processes, and adjust plans as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Evaluate product performance, identify potential risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to enhance business outcomes.
  • Prepare for and participate in key meetings to present assortment strategies and insights.
  • Engage with Global and Cluster Merchandising teams to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies.
  • Report directly to the Senior Merchant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or buying within the apparel sector.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising principles and design trends.
  • Ability to interpret financial metrics and their implications for business performance.
  • Genuine passion for products and consumer engagement.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $57,800-$91,200, complemented by a competitive total rewards package that includes performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits program. Levi Strauss & Co. is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity.
