Job Summary

Modigent is seeking a skilled Controls Technician I to join our team. As an entry-level technician, you will be responsible for installing controls, terminating wiring, and performing lower-level startups and commissioning. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in building automation and energy management controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure controls systems, including wiring and commissioning.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on controls systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of energy management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the controls service and construction startup teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as HVACR or electrical engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and energy management controls.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and training.
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the selected candidate must be able to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites and office settings.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour.
