About the Opportunity:

Talent Shark, LLC is seeking an Electrical Avionics Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $31-$41 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in avionics modifications and a thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, and 145.

Job Description:

The Electrical Avionics Technician will be responsible for performing complex avionics installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft electrical systems. They will work closely with the Avionics Supervisor and other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively perform all tasks outlined under Avionics Technician I & II, as well as the following.
  2. Perform avionics installations, including troubleshooting and repairs of newly installed and existing avionics and airframe electrical systems within assigned goal times.
  3. Conduct aircraft test flights and in-air troubleshooting of avionics components.
  4. Demonstrate ability to inspect wire installations with no supervision.
  5. Demonstrate ability to perform aircraft avionics ground checks with no supervision (Pre-install/Post install).
  6. Provide training to avionics Tech I & II's.
  7. Effectively lead major avionics projects and assigned techs to an on-time and on-goal hour completion.
  8. Provide schedule updates to the Avionics Supervisor and/or General Manager to ensure master schedule accuracy.
  9. Maintain a supervisor-evaluated goal hour productivity rating of 90% or higher.
  10. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of FAA AC43.13-1B: Chapter 7 Aircraft Hardware, Control Cables, and Turnbuckles; Chapter 10 Weight and Balance.
  11. Demonstrate general knowledge of FAA AC43.13-1B: Chapter 9 Aircraft Systems and Components.
