About the Role

At the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, we are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Recovery Support Specialist to join our Mobile Response team. This position plays a crucial role in assisting individuals in crisis to regain control of their lives and recovery processes.

This role requires an individual with exceptional professionalism, ethics, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with ODMHSAS staff and consumers. The successful candidate will also have flexibility to work non-standard hours with generous shift differentials.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $30,000.00 (hourly rate: $14.42) plus benefits
  • Opportunities for Shift Differentials: Evening/Nights - extra $0.50/hr, Weekends – extra $0.75/hr, Holidays – extra $0.75/hr, On-call - $1.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery
  • Ability to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist
