Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter Helper to join our team at Stellar Energy. As a key member of our fabrication facility, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply various industrial coating methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain all equipment, paint, ventilation, compressed air, blast, and PPE related to the application of sprayed, rolled, and brushed products in the industrial environment.
  • Understand and comply with coating product data sheets, SDS sheets, SSPC Standards, and NACE Standards.
  • Comprehend Mil Spec requirements, measurement policies, and maintenance of required reporting documentation.
  • Monitor and measure humidity, temperature, surface profile, and other factors that affect the final product.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years' related experience or training.
  • Dependable transportation, valid driver's license, clean background check, and random drug screening consent.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in Industrial Coatings.
  • Some vocational technical training is desired.
  • NACE and SSPC Industrial Painting Certification.
Work Environment

This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
