We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Anesthesiology Residency Program Director to lead our residency program at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the program's daily operations, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards, and providing exceptional leadership to our residents.
Responsibilities- Direct the anesthesiology residency program to ensure each resident receives comprehensive training.
- Provide evidence of progressive and increasing supervised responsibility by the resident as their training progresses.
- Arrange formal affiliation agreements and/or outside rotations necessary to meet the basic standards or enhance training to meet program objectives.
- Develop and implement a weekly schedule of clinical/teaching and protected time per ACGME.
- At least five years of practice experience in anesthesia or three years of full-time experience with an anesthesiology residency program.
- Certification by the ACGME through the ABA and recertified within the prescribed time frame of the certifying body.
- Active state license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Anesthesia leadership experience.
