Key Responsibilities
  • GIS Software Management: Design, implement, update, and manage GIS software applications for various formats, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

  • Budget Administration: Participate in GIS budget preparation and administration; evaluate and recommend hardware and software acquisitions.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for GIS devices and software.
  • Training: Train and assist staff with GIS and GPS programs.
  • Documentation: Develop and document GIS and GPS procedures.
  • Reporting: Provide various operational reports and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Project Management: Develop and guide project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and issue management.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, geography, information technology, or a related field. Specialized technical certificates may substitute for some education requirements.
  • Experience: Minimum six years of related experience, including supervisory duties and proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro – Enterprise.
