Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist electricians in supplying materials, equipment, and tools at job sites
  • Participate in stringing overhead wires and cables, and installing underground conduit and wire
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring systems and other electrical fixtures and equipment
  • Perform routine installations and repairs of motors and generators, replace brushes, bearings, and make connections and terminations
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving operations, decreasing turnaround times, and providing quality customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend written English material
  • No prior experience required
Physical Demands
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, feel, hear, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to utilize close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjust and focus
