Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding service to customers through prompt, efficient, and professional interactions, ensuring referrals to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Accurately handle financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Assist with branch cash management tasks such as cash shipments, balancing, and reconciliation.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to supervisors as required.
  • Process requests for debit cards, manage stop payments, and place holds on checks for both new and existing clients.
  • Facilitate various account services, including wire transfers, fee assessments, account closures, and documentation in our core banking system.
  • Comply with all relevant federal and state regulations, including those pertaining to the Community Reinvestment Act, OFAC, and Anti-Money Laundering policies, as well as First Northern Bank's internal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to uphold operational integrity and mitigate risks for both the bank and its customers.
  • Work across departments to manage complex account inquiries and customer concerns effectively.
  • Serve as a resource for training new and existing staff as needed.
  • May assist in opening and servicing retail accounts and processing various customer requests.

Compensation Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
