Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cycle counts and bin location audits to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Assist in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Work with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager in inventory-related functions.
  • Count and reconcile randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
  • Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
  • Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
  • Use motorized equipment including: Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
  • Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Education and/or Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and write emails.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
