  • Ensure the quality of patient care and facilitate the development and deployment of policies and programs that support quality care and regulatory compliance
  • Facilitate, review, and submit budgets for assigned responsibilities within Perioperative Services
  • Provide leadership and implement strategies to provide cost-effective quality care
  • Collaborate with Medical Director, Administrator of Prisma Health Perioperative Services, and CNO to develop and gain approval for clinical service strategies
  • Collaborate with Education staff to determine the qualifications and competence of department/service personnel
  • Perform human resource management functions, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, counseling, and terminating assigned staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 5 years of acute care nursing experience, including at least 1 year of perioperative services progressive management experience
  • RN - Registered Nurse - NLRN
  • Licensed South Carolina - Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, including JCAHO, DHEC, and AORN
