About the Role

This actuarial associate position requires 1.5 years of experience in an actuarial role, working towards Associateship/Fellowship of the SOA, CAS, or IFoA, with a minimum of four actuarial exams passed.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or other quantitative fields, with strong technical skills in Excel and knowledge of SQL, programming languages such as R or Python, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pricing analyses, sensitivities, and analytics
  • GAAP, Statutory, hedging, and embedded value modeling
  • US cash flow testing
  • Bermuda economic balance sheet
  • Valuation and financial reporting
  • Support of inforce management initiatives
  • Review and analysis of reinsurance settlements
  • Development and analysis of liability key performance indicators
  • Quality Assurance (first-line independent testing and validation of models)
  • Capital management
