Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Staff: Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff to ensure the efficient operation of our water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance: Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the optimal functioning of our treatment plants.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and regulations, and that all equipment is properly maintained and operated.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Manage the inventory of essential parts, materials, and tools to ensure that our treatment plants have the necessary resources to operate effectively.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with plant management, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met and that our treatment plants are operating efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and at least five years of experience in utility maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance of water or wastewater treatment plants.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least two years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving results.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and to work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
Working Conditions

The Water/Wastewater Plant Maintenance Supervisor will work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and confined spaces. The position will require the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
