Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Lead to join our team at TireHub, LLC. As a Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of tires to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of tire selection, packing, weighing, marking, and counting for customer orders.
  • Lead and direct Logistics Specialists in a dispatch-like format to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and delivery vehicles while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Participate in cycle counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents.
  • Communicate daily summaries to Leadership, including employee, safety, and operational updates.
  • Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
  • Maintain vehicles in clean and good mechanical condition, conducting pre/post-trip inspections and reporting issues to Leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and procedures, as well as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater) while following standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend.
  • Experience with general warehousing, including proper placement of received products and shipping products.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
  • Regularly required to work on a computer and perform repetitive key-boarding activities.
  • May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment.
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
