Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex internal audits, including strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risk-based audits.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes, identifying areas of risk and ensuring effective risk management strategies are in place.
  • Execute revenue audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of reported financial data.
  • Review controls and monitor compliance with established procedures, verifying that assets are safeguarded, and that accurate and timely data is produced.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, managing the execution of the external audit process.
  • Develop recommendations for improving internal control, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes.
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the proposed process.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions and ensure compliance with proposed actions.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Proven experience in revenue audit, review controls, risk audit, and external audit.
  • Experience working with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of auditing principles and standards, risk assessment, and control strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in audit software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a focus on confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to high-quality work.
