We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist (Physician) to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Therapeutic Radiation Oncology: Perform all aspects of therapeutic radiation oncology, including 3-D beam planning, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) treatment and planning, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) treatment and planning, Electron Beam Radiotherapy, and RapidArc/Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) treatment and follow-up care post treatment.
- Tumor Boards: Attend and participate in weekly Tumor Boards to ensure that Veterans with malignancies are appropriately managed.
- Collaboration with Hematology/Oncology and Surgical Subspecialties: Work in coordination with hematology/oncology and surgical subspecialties to ensure that Veterans with malignancies are appropriately managed.
- Patient Care: See new consults, follow-up patients, and weekly clinic patient treatments.
- Treatment Planning: Responsible for devising the treatment plan, contouring both tumor and normal structure targets, and evaluating the overall clinical suitability of a radiation treatment plan.
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Medical License: Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- NPI Report: NPI report printout.
- DEA License: Active DEA license.
- Background Investigation: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
