Loan Officer - Ag

At Farm Credit, we are seeking a skilled Loan Officer to join our Ag & Rural Lending Team in our Higginsville Branch. As a member of the largest agriculture lending cooperative in the United States, we are dedicated to supporting agriculture and rural communities in Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of agricultural loans, including meeting with current customers and prospects to gather financial and scope of operation information.
  • Analyze credit for new actions and servicing actions, verifying financial documentation and closing conditions.
  • Determine product pricing and communicate credit decisions to customers.
  • Service loans, including partial releases, collateral substitutions, and changes in payment and maturity dates.
  • Identify at-risk loans and develop plans to resolve deficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of the sales process, negotiating tactics, marketing strategies, and the financial services industry.
  • Ability to learn and retain Association policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
