Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our emergency animal patients
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist with animal restraint, triage, and diagnostic procedures
- Collect and analyze lab samples, and perform diagnostic imaging
- Manage and care for hospitalized patients with varying degrees of stability
- Administer medications and communicate treatment plans with clients
- Participate in surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
- At least 1+ year of experience in emergency animal care
- High work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
- Weekend availability
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
- Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
- Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
- Proficient in sample collection and laboratory testing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment
