Job Description:

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Global Wholesale Lending Technology team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and observability of our technology environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with technology leads and stakeholders to drive supportability and reduce toil across functional streams.
  • Develop and implement best practices and processes to ensure transparency and consistency across teams.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to drive efficiency and improve application performance.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand and drive tooling programs to improve supportability.
  • Previous experience in Site Reliability Engineering concepts and demonstrated practical execution is required.
Functional Responsibilities:
  • Provide Best in Class Production Availability, Resiliency, and Predictability to the WLT business and lending functions.
  • Standardize and improve application logging for better proactive monitoring.
  • Design solutions that are fault-tolerant, scalable, reliable, and build always-on systems for high availability.
  • Engage Product/Technology Owners to establish business service level objectives and Service level Indicators.
  • Spending 50% of time on development tasks such as new features, scaling, recovery, and automation of manual tasks.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with financial products and knowledge of lending is a plus.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of the industry and industry products and services.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
