Job Overview

Chrysalis is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Analyst In Training to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing behavior support plans, training direct service staff, and providing intensive supports to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Program Development: Conduct functional analyses, preference assessments, and skills assessments to develop comprehensive behavior support plans.
  • Staff Training and Treatment Fidelity: Train staff members on programs and evaluate treatment integrity to ensure high-quality services.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Write progress notes summarizing individual progress and provide regular updates to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Best Practice Standards: Adhere to the ethical guidelines and disciplinary standards of the BACB, using evidence-based intervention strategies and compiling programs with restrictive behavioral interventions for review.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Attend team meetings and communicate with parents/guardians, state employees, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective treatment and support.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: BS or BA degree in Psychology or a related field, with enrollment in an MS/MA program with an approved BACB course sequence.
  • Experience: 18 years of age or older, with a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and practices.
  • Certifications: Obtain supervision hours as required by the BACB, pass the BCBA exam within 6 months of completing degree and supervision requirements, and maintain SOAR certification.
