Job Summary

Elwyn is seeking a skilled Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team in residential group homes. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct care and training to individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general nursing procedures, behavior management, and direct care as dictated by the individuals' health and behavioral care needs.
  • Participate in the development of Individual Support Plans and contribute to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Function as lead staff on the shift, overseeing DSPs and/or CNAs, and ensuring adherence to standards, procedures, and schedules.
  • Provide active programming at all times and ensure the well-being of individuals in our care.
Requirements
  • Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the Human Services field.
