We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Fitzgibbon Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Filling orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Checking technician-prepared products before release to ensure quality and safety
- Maintaining the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Entering orders and patient information with precision and accuracy
- Aiding in the training of new staff members
- Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
- Aiding the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Missouri Pharmacist licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent
- Ability to solve problems and establish trust and credibility
- Experience with MS Office Suite and pharmacy order entry systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
