Job Title: SAP SCM Sr. Business System Analyst

Company: Hyundai Autoever America

Job Summary:

This role entails being the SAP Business Analyst capable of spearheading Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions at Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing. It involves adept support to business systems encompassing SAP PP, MM, SD, PM, and QM modules. Additionally, the role encompasses bridging business liaisons with Korea HQ to amplify and implement SCM best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, estimate, support, and manage the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of SAP projects, enhancements, and service delivery (break/fix) across all HAEA-AM-supported instances.
  2. Be involved in the keep it running and evolutive maintenance of SAP ERP solution.
  3. Take the lead role in assisting with the business case, planning, and monitoring, eliciting requirements, requirements organization, translating and simplifying requirements, requirements management and communication, and requirements analysis.
  4. Oversee incident management, checking and solving customizing issues, bug fixing, investigation of escalated problems, monitoring of interfaces and replications, enhancement management, analysis and application implementation, improvements, writing general as well as detailed, functional specifications, integration tests & business support for UAT, the application documentation, contribution to workload estimations.
  5. Keep a general overview of the solution's architecture and its evolution and be accessible for all matters in the functional domain of SAP PP/MM/SD/PM/QM.
  6. Stay current with technical developments and evolutions in SAP PP/MM/SD/PM/QM.
  7. Perform a fit-gap analysis for business requirements and deliver solutions in line with standard SAP.
  8. Decompose high-level information into details and animate workshops with end-users and business representatives.
  9. Distinguish requests from the underlying business needs.
  10. Maintain a regular physical presence close to business interlocutors and key users to assist them in the development and daily management of their applications.
  11. Respect the operating procedures and methodology effective within HAEA-AM.
  12. Respect working in collaboration with external partners according to the HAEA IT model.
  13. Support HQ teams in the maintenance of the SAP solution and its evolution in line with the requirements of our CBU.
  14. On-call support.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or supply chain management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Related Work Experience (Yrs.): At least 10+ years of hands-on configuration, development, or support of SAP SCM area (PP/MM/SD/PM/QM).

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to set expectations, explain, and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners.
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks to accomplish or solve problems.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment.
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe.
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate and manage remotely in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues.
  • Must have the ability to question the status quo.

Certifications (Required/Preferred) & Other Attributes:

  • SAP MM certification preferred.
  • SAP PP certification preferred.
  • CPIM certification preferred.
  • Bilingual (Korean/English) is definitely a +.

Salary Range: $81,040 to $124,800 per year.
