Heavy Equipment Operator

for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Do you have a passion for operating heavy machinery? Are you ready to take on the challenge of working in a quarry or mining environment?

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be tasked with:

1. Operating haul trucks to transport rock materials to designated areas.
2. Ensuring optimal equipment usage to enhance productivity while minimizing wear and downtime.
3. Handling additional mobile plant machinery as required (e.g., Water Truck, Loader).
4. Assisting in various plant operations as necessary.
5. Reporting any mechanical or maintenance concerns regarding equipment.
6. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies; performing daily inspections of equipment and identifying unsafe conditions.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience operating haul trucks or similar large mobile equipment is preferred.
3. Previous experience in open pit mining and working with aggregate products is advantageous.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and overtime as needed.
5. MSHA Part 48 training is a plus.
6. Ability to understand stockpile and plant flow.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves various physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, working in confined spaces, and tolerating extreme weather conditions. The position may require the use of personal protective equipment.
