About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ciena Healthcare. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other team members to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status and notify physicians of any changes or concerns.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to prevent complications and promote resident well-being.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
  • CPR certification.
