About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Yugo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee property operations and ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Repair and enhance our community by addressing all plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs, providing training to other team members as needed.
  • Build relationships with residents by offering a smile and a greeting, and chatting as you make repairs in their homes.
  • Manage service requests by collaborating with teammates and prioritizing tasks to earn trust and build resident satisfaction.
  • Prepare and execute turn by partnering with the property manager to ensure vendors are ready and organizing the team for a smooth and impeccable turn.
  • Tend to preventive maintenance by safeguarding equipment with regular tune-ups, helping equipment last longer and minimizing costly repairs.
  • Notice the details by walking the property daily, inspecting all areas for cleanliness and safety, and helping to maintain great curb appeal.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
  • HVAC experience.
  • EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal).
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with computers, including word processing, calendar management, and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
  • Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.
