Electrical Systems Commissioning Engineer

About the Role:
Nightwing is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic program in a world-class operations facility. The successful candidate will provide electrical systems commissioning and energy-related services for all phases of new construction projects, as well as retro-commissioning, energy auditing, energy modeling, and monitoring-based commissioning of existing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational maintenance of multiple electrical systems, including analysis and reporting of electrical data and metrics.
- Maintain documentation pertaining to various projects, design drawings, technical reports, and engineering activities.
Requirements:
- Design and instrument facilities infrastructure planning.
- Analysis of building monitoring system's data and ability to action plan, develop, and integrate requirements to support facility/site expansions and mitigate or resolve inefficiencies.
- Ability to calculate and develop power requirements for new or existing facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment, including medium/low voltage unit substations, uninterruptable power systems (UPS), generators, automatic transfer switches.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Operations for electrical and control systems.
- Develop and execute preventative and/or predictive maintenance plans for mission-critical equipment.
- Ability to interpret and design electrical one-line and control wiring diagrams.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment to resolve issues or improve efficiencies.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledgeable in mechanical cooling systems pertaining to Data Center configurations.
- Knowledgeable in computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD.
- Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited College or University in Electrical Engineering or other STEM-related field with a minimum of 5 years' experience.

Salary Range:
$105,000 - $221,000 USD.
