Job Overview: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire is on the lookout for a Test Equipment Engineer Associate.

This role involves the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test procedures, planning and preparation for tests, executing test procedures, and troubleshooting test software on target hardware.

Key responsibilities include coordinating resources for system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to achieve a working solution, as well as performing validation and verification tasks. The engineer will also implement fixes and enhancements to the test software utilized in the ATE.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Basic understanding of testing and troubleshooting software in hardware environments.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and C#.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot various test equipment, including test cable assemblies, Interface Test Adapters (ITA), engineering subassemblies, and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
  • Eligibility to obtain a secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in developing test software using National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand, and LabWindows CVI is highly desirable.


Security Clearance Requirement:

This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.


Work Environment:

This position is full-time and requires onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedule:

Lockheed Martin offers a variety of flexible work schedules, including options for condensed workweeks.


Experience Level:

4 years and above in a relevant field.
