Internship Overview:

RES is seeking an intern to assist the Project Engineering teams on our construction sites. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to learn about solar infrastructure and gain hands-on experience in the field.

As an intern, you will support experienced engineers in their daily tasks, shadow actual operations, and work on projects that support larger initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to relocate to any of our project sites across the country for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the generation, maintenance, tracking, and updating of project-specific procurement logs, RFI logs, PODs, and engineering milestones weekly.
  2. Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to the project team for review.
  3. Assist in maintaining project documentation structures using SharePoint, Procore, or client systems.
  4. Review and check conformance of vendor submittals and engineering designs to the prime contract.
  5. Attend work punctually and comply with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies and Procedures.
  6. Present a safety and quality-oriented attitude and lead by example.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a BS or MS degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil preferred).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 18 years of age by the start of the internship assignment.
  • Eligible to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship.
  • Willing to relocate to any of our project sites across the country for the duration of the internship.

Benefits:

  • Anticipated base salary range: $
  • $125 daily per diem.
  • $100 monthly cell phone stipends.
  • Access to a company vehicle with a gas card.
  • Reimbursement for travel to the project site and home.
