Job Summary

As a valued member of the El Centro Family Health team, the Dental Care Specialist plays a crucial role in promoting excellent oral health for our patients.

About the Role

  • Conduct thorough dental examinations and chart restorations to ensure accurate patient records.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and radiographic studies to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the Dental Director to provide high-quality patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from a two-year ADA-accredited school of dental hygiene preferred.
  • Licensure to practice dental hygiene from any state, territory, or province recognized by the Council on Education of the American Dental Association required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification a plus.
