Pulmonary Respiratory Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonary Department at Presbyterian Espanola Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide routine and advanced respiratory care to infant, pediatric, and adult patients. Your expertise will include intubation, extubation, and tracheotomy care, as well as proficiency in the use of High Flow, BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, and Bubble CPAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced airway care, including intubation and extubation, for infant, pediatric, and adult patients.
  • Implement cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric, and adult patients.
  • Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department, including Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement, and cardiac stress testing.

Requirements:

  • BLS required at time of hire.
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
  • Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
