The role of the Welder/Fabricator involves the precise fabrication and assembly of pre-manufactured steel and aluminum components, both large and small, to create finished products. This position requires skills in grinding and basic wiring, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe and clean workspace. The Welder plays a crucial role in our operations, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform primarily wire feed carbon steel horizontal welding, with occasional vertical welds.
  • Manage materials by moving steel or aluminum onto fixtures and jigs.
  • Fabricate according to specifications, ensuring clarity by asking questions when needed to meet customer standards.
  • Follow all administrative protocols, including logging time on tasks and maintaining updated records.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Proficiency in using basic tools, including tape measures and reading prints/drawings.
  4. Exhibit a positive attitude and punctuality.
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Previous welding experience.
  2. Familiarity with wiring tasks.
  3. Ability to interpret drawings, prints, and diagrams.
  4. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and skid steers.
