X-Ray Technologist Job Description

Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform nursing duties, including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks.
  • Observe patients, charting, and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking necessary action.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition and prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
  • Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider and ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
  • Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
