Excelitas Technologies is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and optimization of our global insurance program. As Director of Insurance and Enterprise Risk Management, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the necessary processes to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor operational and strategic risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks.
- Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage for Excelitas, ensuring compliance with regulations and strategic imperatives.
- Manage relationships with insurance brokers and vendors, overseeing procurement and renewal processes.
- Support insured claims and ensure risk management policies are aligned with company objectives.
- Establish and monitor the Enterprise Risk Management architecture, reporting risks to the Board.
- BS degree in business or law, with 10+ years of experience in insurance and/or risk management.
- Proven ability to multitask, solve problems, and effectively communicate with Executive Leadership and the Board.
- Significant experience in selecting, negotiating with, and managing outside vendors.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
