Requirements
  • Certified to perform volumetric butt corner and tee weld UT inspection in accordance with NAVSEA standards
  • Must provide certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period
  • Certified to Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later)
  • Passed written, general theory, procedure-specific, and practical UT examinations
  • Vision acuity tested with Jaeger 1 letters at 12 inches within the last year
  • Demonstrated recent experience in applicable methods within the past 9 months
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights
  • Willingness to crawl in tanks and confined spaces
