As a cardiovascular sonographer at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing echocardiograms and vascular exams on hospital outpatients, as well as assisting with other patient-related activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering two-dimensional, m-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms and vascular exams to patients while recording digital clips.
  • Properly positioning patients, attaching equipment, and adjusting control settings to obtain optimal display.
  • Ensuring proper equipment disinfection in accordance with established protocol.

This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, located at our Bayridge location.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • ARDMS Registered Sonographer.
  • 1 year of experience.
