Proposal Writer and Editor

We're seeking a skilled Proposal Writer and Editor to join our team. As a key member of our proposal development team, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

• Develop and write proposal content, including narrative, technical, and management sections
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure proposal accuracy and completeness
• Manage proposal development timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals
• Conduct research and analysis to support proposal development and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Edit and proofread proposal content for clarity, readability, and consistency
• Develop and maintain compliance matrices to ensure proposal compliance with client requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or relevant technical subject
• 2+ years of proposal experience, with a strong track record of writing and winning proposals
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to gather and analyze information to support proposal development
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills

• 5+ years of proposal experience, with a strong track record of writing and winning proposals
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with proposal development software and tools, such as Shipley and Lohfeld
• Active US government issued Security Clearance
